Travel Research and Planning Fee Agreement

This Travel Research and Planning Fee Agreement (“Agreement”) and the Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) at https://www.vacationsbyjillian.com/termsandconditions become effective between Vacations by Jillian (“Agency”) and you (including all travelers on the same booking) (“you” or “Traveler”) upon your signature (electronic or written), or your payment of Planning Fees, until terminated in writing by you or Agency.

CUSTOM TRAVEL RESEARCH AND PLANNING FEES

 

  • Services including custom itinerary, hotels, excursions, and support before and during travel.

  • Vacations by Jillian's $200 non-refundable Travel Research and Planning Fee covers: Our initial research, up to 3 custom proposals based on our initial consultation, a custom itinerary, access to your itinerary online and via our app, and support prior to and during travel.

  • This retainer is valid for thirty (30) days based upon the original destination request. If there is no communication for 30 days after the invoice is paid we will consider your file closed. If you choose to reconvene after the 30 days, a new planning retainer will be assessed.

  • All proposals expire after seven (7) days. After that point a new planning fee will be assessed.

  • This retainer is for one (1) destination. A change in destination will require a new client services agreement and a new planning fee. 

  • Planning services are only included if trip components are booked with Vacations by Jillian. If components are booked on their own after receiving recommendations the agreement is complete. VBJ only services trips for which we have booked the accommodations. 

  • Please note that Vacations by Jillian often recommends that clients book their own flights directly with the airline for best price and service.  We are happy to advise on flights, and once booked we are happy to add them to the itinerary.

 

HOTELS

 

  • We have access to some of the world’s most distinguished premium properties.

  • Amenity programs may include VIP privileges.

  • You may receive benefits unavailable by direct booking or an online booking engine.

  • Hotels may not offer loyalty rewards or credit nights to your annual stays.

GENERAL TERMS

 

  • All Planning Fees are separate from the cost of your travel.

  • All Planning Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE, whether or not you decide to book travel.

  • This Agreement is separate from your agreements with any travel suppliers, e.g., airlines, hotels, tour operators, cruise lines, and any other suppliers.
